Close to the Moon Festival cancelled

We have just received this statement from the Italian promoter. As a result we will not be playing in Italy this month, and our promoters are looking to reschedule for early next year!

“With deep regret we have to announce that for reasons entirely due to the local promoter, that has been in fault of its contractual obligations agreements, there are no more the conditions to proceed with the production of the Festival.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, for reasons that are beyond our control, first of all to the artists who gave us their wide availability, to the local companies and organizations on the territory that had given us their cooperation; and to our media partners and journalists that were working on side-events that would have enriched the festival; but above all, we apologize to all those who bought the tickets and made plans to attend the first edition of the festival.
We will request the local promoter to have the instructions for tickets refund public as soon as this is possible.”

Setlist from Southampton . Jimmy Hastings replaces Geoffrey for two Gigs

The band played two gigs last month with Jimmy replacing Geoffrey as he was committed elsewhere .
Geoffrey will be back with the band for the Italy date in July .
Some of the arrangements were different with a Jazzier feel to some of the songs. The band haven’t played a group version of ‘ Love Song With Flute’
since 1971!
They also played an extra encore ‘Memory Lain Hugh’
