Prog Rock Weekend at Canterbury’s Augustine House

Canterbury Christ Church University have teamed up with Caravan to offer its music students a fantastic opportunity over the weekend of 2nd – 3rd March 2012.

At a brand new venue – St Augustine Hall the band will be holding a workshop for the students during the Saturday daytime. In the evening there will be a “Battle Of The Bands” competition featuring bands from the University.

Caravan will be adjudicating the competition and the winning band will have the opportunity to play a Caravan number on stage with the band on Sunday night!

On the Sunday the band will hold an open rehearsal both on their own and with the winning band. In the evening the Band will be playing a full set with lighting and sound provided by the students.

The capacity of the hall is approximately 450 (standing) and the University have decided to release 200 tickets to the public at a special rate of £10 a head.

To book your ticket please contact the Marlowe Theatre Box Office:

01227 787787

There will be limited tickets available at the door.

This is such a unique event and we thank the band and the University for organising what should be an amazing weekend.

What a weekend. If you didn’t go you missed a treat.

6 bands on Saturday night open rehersal Sunday morning and most of the band available for a chat throughout the day. The best £10 I have ever spent.
