Dave Sinclair – New Solo CD release: ‘Hook-Line & Sinclair’

Dave is pleased to announce the release of his new CD, ‘Hook-Line & Sinclair’.

It contains a selection of 12 new and unreleased home and studio recordings from 1981 to 2019

A number of ‘Canterbury’ musicians play on the album including: Pye Hastings, Richard Coughlan, Robert Wyatt, Richard Sinclair, Jimmy Hastings and Doug Boyle.

All Gigs postponed until 2021

We are sad to announce that due to the current Pandemic situation all Caravan Gigs this year will not now take place

The good news is that the majority of them have been rescheduled to 2021!

The 50th  Anniversary of In The Land Of Grey And Pink UK tour will now be in October 2021 . The promoter has managed to retain all of the original venues plus an additional one in Glasgow .

The date with Procol Harum  has been rescheduled to 3rd July 2021

more dates including Europe will be added in due course

The band are very disappointed to have to postpone the dates this year as they were itching to go back on the road .In order to give the best possible chance for venues to get up and running again the dates were rescheduled for October 2021

details of the dates will be put on this website very soon .

The Boxset has also been delayed due to the Pandemic and is now scheduled to be released next March .

Dear all.

The band are pleased to announce a mammoth 13 date UK tour for October and November 2020

The tour is titled the ‘Who Do You Think We are ?’  tour . The tour is anticipated to coincide with the release of the  fantastic 38 CD Boxset on Snapper Records .

The Tour takes in  a few venues that the band haven’t played before.  The London date is  at the prestigious   Union Chapel Islington

In addition to the above the band are playing in festivals in  Norway (May) ,  and Finland (Nov).


there are also plans to play in France , Germany and Poland in the Autumn

new Anthology Box set out September 6th!

For those who can’t wait for the Snapper boxset in November 2020  – Universal are releasing a really nice  9 CD boxset this September.

Caravan-The Decca Years (An Anthology)  1970-1974

This 9 CD Box Set collects all of Caravan’s Decca/ Deram albums (including bonus material) as well as Fairfield Halls 1974 and ‘The show of our lives’ -Live at the BBC 1970-1975.

It looks like there isn’t anything that hasn’t already been released before when the remasters were done a few years ago. However, it really is a lovely boxset with gatefold sleeves and booklet.

RRP about £66; so good value as well!

Cropredy Here we Come!

The band are very excited to announce that they been asked to perform at Fairport’s Cropedy Convention  (Formerly Cropredy Festival) next year.

The festival , in Oxfordshire, England , attracts up  to 20,000 people each year.

The dates are Thursday 8th -Saturday 10th August  2019

Caravan are playing  at 5.00 PM on Friday 9th August .

The Band have never played at this festival and are, not surprisingly, delighted to be playing at this one next year.





Dear fan , It is with great pleasure to announce that  we are working on a career defining Boxset which will be released in 2020

It will be a limited edition

As  part of this  set there will be a number of Live recordings  .We  are looking to hear from anyone who has any unofficial  ‘Live’ recordings over the last fifty years that they are willing to share  . We especially need  soundboard / good audience  recordings from the 1970’s.

all recordings will get a full personal  credit in the boxset .
